Vini Fabretti received a prestigious invitation to lend his creative expertise to an advertising campaign for Converse Brazil, where the central focus was to raise awareness about global warming. Collaborating with esteemed art director VJ Carol Santana, Fabretti took charge of creating all the animations for the campaign.
The animations ingeniously portrayed the potential consequences of global warming by illustrating the catastrophic flooding of all the cities in Rio de Janeiro. Through his visual storytelling, Fabretti aimed to shed light on the urgency of addressing the ecological crisis. These powerful projections were showcased at two iconic tourist destinations in Rio de Janeiro: Lapa Arches and Tomorrow Museum. The impact of the campaign was amplified through social media platforms, garnering thousands of views and likes on Instagram.
The creative process involved an extensive 180-hour 3D rendering endeavor, resulting in two stunning 5K resolution animations specifically tailored for each of the selected sites. To ensure optimal quality and visual impact, a total of 14 state-of-the-art 21,000 lumens laser projectors were utilized.
Fabretti's artistic prowess and collaboration with Converse Brazil culminated in a visually striking and thought-provoking campaign. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and artistic finesse, the animations not only captivated viewers but also compelled them to contemplate the pressing environmental challenges we face.
